The Northern Neck-Middle Peninsula chapter of the Virginia Aeronautical Historical Society will have a presentation on the history of the Dahlgren Naval Surface Warfare Center in King George County on the Northern Neck when it meets for its monthly buffet lunch meeting on Thursday, May 15.
The meeting will be held at the Pilot House Restaurant, which is located on Route 3 near Hummel Field in Topping. The program begins with a meet and greet at 11:30, lunch at noon, and the program at 12:30 p.m.
This presentation is rescheduled from the group’s February, which was canceled due to snow. Everyone interested in aviation is invited to attend.
The group meets on the third Thursday of the month and has presentations about historical and current civilian and military aviation and some other topics.
