As our nation closes down trying to reduce the spread of COVID-19 during coronavirus pandemic, the Gazette-Journal presents photographs of beautiful bloomers submitted by our readers and staff, adding to the colorful spread in the March 26 paper. Nature keeps going Not daffodils but tulips added their brightness to the yard of Leslie Belvin of Hayes. She said this variety is totally yellow if looking down on them, and red when closed at night. “Nature around us continues as if nothing’s going on,” Belvin said.
