The Gloucester Daffodil Show and American Daffodil Society Mid-Atlantic Regional Show was held on March 28 and 29 at Newington Baptist Church on Main Street in Gloucester. It is a signature event of the annual Gloucester Daffodil Festival and is sanctioned by the American Daffodil Society. This year’s show was sponsored by Liberty Live Church, with major awards presented by 2026 Daffodil Festival Queen Hannah Symonds. First-time exhibitor Harry Belvin took home the American Daffodil Society Gold Ribbon for the Best Standard Daffodil in the show. His winning daffodil, Fragrant Rose, a Division 2 Large Cup, was hybridized by Brian Duncan of Northern Ireland and was winner of the ADS’s prestigious Wister Award in 2005. The 2026 show included 110 exhibitors, 1,526 entries, and 3,017 stems in Horticulture. Additionally, there were 25 photographers with 158 photo entries.
