Daffodil judging school offered next spring

An American Daffodil Society Judging School I will be offered on Friday, April 5, 2019 in the Chesapeake Lounge at Brent & Becky’s, Gloucester.

This school is the first step (two more are required) toward becoming an accredited ADS judge and will contain information about growing and showing daffodils. Anyone wanting to learn more about daffodils but not interested in becoming a judge may audit the class, a release said. Pre-registration is required by March 29, 2019.

Sign-in for the April 5 school is at 8 a.m. The class will start at 8:30. Students taking the test to be a judge may have access to the cultivars for the ID test for study the evening before from 5 to 7 o’clock and may enter the meeting room as early as 7 o’clock Friday morning to study. Those taking the course for information only will finish by 12:45 p.m. Testing for the judging students will follow.
