Daffodil Festival returns this weekend

So far, dry but chilly weather is in the forecast for this weekend’s 2018 Gloucester Daffodil Festival, with the ever-present spring threat of a rain shower or two.

Festivities kick off Saturday with the annual parade at 10 a.m. and will continue until Sunday evening.

This year, first responders will receive special recognition during and after the parade, and special guests will be the elite drum corps, “Drums United.”

Also, more than 150 vendors are expected to participate, along with numerous local musical groups, food vendors and more.
