Cynthia “Cindy” Greene Hogge, age 65, of Aberdeen Creek, went to be with our heavenly Father on Friday, May 9, 2025. Cindy was born on January 1, 1960 to the late Henry “Malvin” and Mattie “Senora” Greene. She enjoyed traveling, the OBX, relaxing on the beach, cooking and, most of all, listening to music. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James “Jimmy” R. Greene. Cindy is survived by her daughter, Casey Laine Hogge-Jenkins (Joshua Evans); Casey’s father, Mark E. Hogge (Robin Hogge); sister-in-law, Kathleen Greene; niece, Martha Bjers (John), and best friend, Becky Blaylock. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 6-7:30 p.m. The memorial service will be held at Bellamy United Methodist Church, conducted by Pastor Ed Walker, on Friday, May 16, 2025, beginning at 11 a.m. The inurnment will be private.
