Curry to speak about ‘Telling the Stories of the Northern Neck’

The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society and Lancaster Community Library will host a presentation by Pixie E. Curry, “Telling the Stories of the Northern Neck,” on Tuesday, July 18, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.

As host and producer of the new audio series, “A Pixie from Kilmarnock,” Curry highlights the people, places, and history of her hometown region, especially documenting Black lives and experiences, to enrich everyone’s understanding of the Northern Neck.

This presentation is the concluding program of the “A Special Evening With …” summer series held in conjunction with the LCL Adult Summer Reading Program. Admission is free and no reservations are needed. The program will also be livestreamed on the LCL Facebook page and recorded.
