CrossFit, an exercise facility at White Marsh Shopping Center, is under new ownership.

Stephanie Johnston and her husband Spencer own the business with partners Kori Fielding and her husband Ross. Both couples reside in Gloucester.

Kori and Stephanie manage the gym, which they call “the box.” They, along with five others, are certified to teach exercise classes there.

The leased space offers classes six days a week, with morning, afternoon and early evening sessions held for teens and adults. Also, special classes are held periodically for younger children.

CrossFit provides a high intensity workout, Stephanie said. Classes rotate to reduce boredom of the routines, and sometimes local sports teams work out there.

Members use a variety of equipment, including bikes, rings, barbells, stretch bands, balls and tires of various sizes. Besides the classes, the local CrossFit offers some individual and personal training, and sells protein shakes.
