Croquet club invites all to join fall league

The Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club in Hartfield is encouraging anyone with an interest in golf croquet to join its fall league. Individuals and couples from all skill levels, including beginners, are welcome to participate. League began play on Monday, with weekly games through Nov. 28.

“With the arrival of fall, many individuals want to get outdoors and enjoy the weather,” said CBCC pro Macey White. “Croquet is an excellent way to meet others while learning a game that is growing in popularity around the country and the world. Individuals of all ages and skill levels play here, and we invite anyone who is interested to contact us.”

White said each week a player will be matched with another player at a similar skill level. The two players will contact each other and agree on a time to play. The club is asking that non-members pay a one-time fee of $20. Members pay a $10 fee. Funds will be used to pay for an end-of-league party on Nov. 28.
