Creekside Café opens at Coleman’s Crossing

Creekside Café & Market has opened in the Coleman’s Crossing development in Hayes. Owners Dorsie and Jason Reese of Gloucester started Creekside Catering Company several years ago. Already operating both a catering company and a food truck business, the family has now started its next venture.

The Creekside Catering Company began solely as a catering company, but success led the Reeses to venture into the food truck scene, as well. Dorsie said that after a few years of operating both, they needed a way to continue to grow.

According to Dorsie, keeping up with the demands of the couple’s catering business was becoming difficult without a large kitchen. She said that if they were going to build a catering kitchen, they decided they might as well find a way to let people come and enjoy the food that came from it.
