Crawford Moving and Storage has diversified once again.

The company, located on Buckley Hall Road in Mathews, added Joyce’s Pack and Ship in 2003. Recently, it added a gift shop in space adjacent to its pack/ship operation.

And Joyce Crawford, who owns the overall business with her husband, Greg, said they plan to diversify even further this fall by including a second-hand goods store on the premises. Crawford said she will buy items, rather than have consigners use her sales floor.

The gift shop sells an assortment of items, including seasonal decorations, Longaberger baskets, toys and many items she said would be perfect to give to a teacher.

Crawford Moving and Storage began operations in Mathews 39 years ago, run for many years by Greg’s parents, Gordon (now deceased) and Margaret "Libby" Crawford of New Point.
