Crafting days held at Whitcomb Lodge

SIT & CRAFT: Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism is offering a day to enjoy the view from Beaverdam Park’s Whitcomb Lodge as you sit with friends and work on your favorite crafts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9 (and every second Wednesday of the month). A six-foot table, chair, electricity and access to a refrigerator, microwave and restrooms are included. Pack a lunch, pack your current project and come out for a day of friends and fun. The fee is $15; the deadline to register is June 2.

BEAVERDAM PARK: PRT is offering night activities at Beaverdam Park. Pre-registration is required. One Friday a month, the park will be open late for evening/night activities. On June 11, the park will host night fishing from 4 o’clock to midnight for $5/person; night biking from 7:15 to 9:30 p.m. for $3/person.
