Cox customers experience service disruptions

Cox Communications customers in Gloucester experienced disruptions in service last week with slow internet speeds and poor phone connections. Some customers took to social media to express their frustration.

A hardware issue affected services in the county, according to Cox spokesperson Angelique LeBlanc. “Our teams have identified the issue and are working to fully resolve the issue,” she said on Friday.

“We are aware that customers in Gloucester are experiencing intermittent issues with their Cox services,” she said. “Our teams are making progress to fully resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

“We make every effort to ensure our customers remain connected,” she added, providing the 24/7 customer assistance number—757-224-1111—if customers had additional questions or concerns.
