Courthouse Family Medicine, located at 6760 Main Street in Gloucester, is collecting canned food during September and October to benefit the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank and help feed hungry families in Gloucester, a release stated.

Residents are encouraged to drop off fruit juices, baby food and formula, canned vegetables and fruit, canned meats like tuna and chicken, rice, and pasta meals. Cash donations are also being accepted; a $1 donation can provide four meals.
