County board to meet Tuesday

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will discuss repealing a section of county code dealing with demonstrations and parades at its meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the colonial courthouse.

The board is also expected to vote on requesting to hold a public hearing on school construction bonds and discuss the need for a pump and haul contract at Perrin Wharf.

In other news, the board will hear a presentation of the results of the Sea Level Rise focus group discussion from Tanya Denkla-Cobb, associate director of the University of Virginia’s Institute for Environmental Negotiation.

At the end of the meeting, the board is expected to meet in closed session for consultation with legal counsel and discussion concerning personnel matters.
