Corvo Coffee opens in West Point

“My husband and I love good coffee.”
Abby and Micah Mahoney opened Corvo Coffee on July 12 at the corner of 14th and Lee streets in West Point, directly across from the McDonald’s parking lot.
The couple decided to blend their entrepreneurial spirit with their love of coffee by opening a coffee trailer. They started making plans in September to open their trailer in West Point. “They were very receptive to us coming,” said Abby about the town’s leadership.
The couple named their coffee business “Corvo” for several reasons. To celebrate Micah’s Italian heritage, the pair named the business the Italian word for raven. In addition, the black feathers of ravens can be reminiscent of coffee beans.
“To us, it speaks family,” said Abby about the name.
