Corvette, Camaro owners show off their wheels

Ken Houtz Chevrolet-Buick, Inc., in Gloucester held a successful promotion Saturday. Despite cloudy skies and drizzle, several hundred people attended the event at the dealership on Route 17.
Ella Ames, the company’s sales manager, said that she was very pleased that a number of Corvette and Camaro owners came to show off their vehicles. And those car owners—and others who stopped by—donated a lot of dog and cat food for the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society.
Ken Houtz, who owns the dealership with his wife Pat, is a member of the board of directors for GMHS. Houtz and his staff donated and sought donations of pet food from local businesses and Houtz matched the corporate donations pound for pound. Ames thanked Moughons, Inc., Deltaville Market, Nuttall and Company Country Store, Best Value Supermarket, Walmart, Southern States, Ollie’s, and Tractor Supply for their generous support.
