Susan Haley Corson recently became the principal broker for Haley Real Estate, LLC, located at the Heritage House on Martin Street, Gloucester. Her mother, Helen Haley, who started the company in 2001, remains with the company as an associate broker.

Corson said theirs is a full-service real estate company, principally handling properties on the Middle Peninsula, Northern Neck and Peninsula. 

Haley said that as interest rates begin to climb, many people are looking to buy a home now to lock in low rates. Corson said the company helps people looking for their first home, those looking to move to larger homes or to downsize, as well as vacation and second homes.

The staff handles referrals as well, getting leads from out of the area to help clients coming here and to line clients up with brokers not near Gloucester.
