Corner-stone to be laid for Cobbs Creek High School

August 23 will be a big day in the annals of Cobbs Creek. On that occasion, the Corner-stone of the handsome High School Building now in course of erection of that place will be laid and other attractive features of entertainment will mark the day.
The Corner-stone will be laid with Masonic ceremonies about 10:30 a.m. after which several prominent speakers will address the crowd. Dinner will then be served on the grounds, the proceeds from which will go toward erecting the new building. In the afternoon there will be a big baseball game and other species of entertainment and at night, a play will be given by the ladies.
