Sebastian Brock of Gloucester is opening a storefront for his previously online-only candle business this Friday at 7840 Ware Neck Road.

Coral Bay Candle * Body * Soul began as a small operation in Brock’s Newport News home in 2019. “We started off just making candles,” said Brock, Founder and CEO of Coral Bay Candle, simply because “everybody loves candles.”

His business began to boom online, to the point where he could not continue operating out of his home even with two employees helping with the workload. “I literally couldn’t keep up,” said Brock.

In September 2020, Brock moved his business to the Ware Neck location with plans to open a storefront the following year. In addition to candles, the business also offers lip balms, deodorants, beard care, bath salts, bath bombs, makeup remover, body scrubs, wax melts, body butter, and more.
