A funeral service for Cora Elizabeth Jackson Harris of Gloucester, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Zion Hill Baptist Church, Gloucester. She died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011.

She was a member of Zion Hill and its Senior Choir. She retired from Eastern State Hospital, Williamsburg, in 1992.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Arthur F. Harris Sr.; five sons, James Jackson Harris, Arthur F. Harris Jr., John A. Harris, Alfred L. Harris and Timothy M. Harris; brother, Matt Jackson Jr.; five grandchildren, and five step-grandchildren.

Mrs. Harris will lie in state from noon until service time. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
