Season tickets are now on sale for the five-show 2018-2019 Concerts by the Bay season, kicking off with a Simon and Garfunkel tribute at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16, at Mathews High School.
Brothers Todd and Gregg Pitts, appearing as “The Boxers,” will perform some of the duo’s hit songs of the 1960s, including “The Sound of Silence,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water” and “Mrs. Robinson.”
Other performances will feature Broadway singer Tiffany Haas, who most recently portrayed “Glinda,” the good witch in the musical “Wicked,” performing a variety of numbers on Oct. 7; Jason Coleman, the grandson of pianist Floyd Cramer, and Meagan Taylor, Chet Atkins’ niece, performing iconic country and pop hits with the “Nashville Sound” on Jan. 27; jazz musician Slim Man, named Best Jazz Vocalist at the 2016-2017 Coachella Awards, performing Rat Pack songs with a twist on March 3; and former Disneyland saxoph...
