Concerts by the Bay announces season lineup

Concerts by the Bay will kick off its 2022-2023 season on Sunday, Sept. 25, with a performance by the Richmond Symphony.

October will showcase more Virginia talent with the Bobby BlackHat Band on Oct. 16. The following month brings “Hooray for Hollywood,” a well-known trio in the U.S. and Canada on Nov. 20. The first show of 2023 will feature Blue Ridge Musical Hall of Fame member Jeff Little on March 12. Grammy nominated pianist/singer/songwriter Judy Carmichael will cap off the season on April 23.

All performances are held on Sundays at 3 p.m. in the Harry M. Ward Auditorium at Mathews High School. Season tickets are available for all five concerts starting at $100, which also includes reciprocal concerts through Arts Alive in West Point and Rappahannock Concerts Association as well.

Single tickets can be purchased at the door or the Mathews County Visitor and Information Center for $25 each; students with student ID are admitted free.
