Arts on Main recently partnered with the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society to host a community mural workshop led by Richmond-based artist and instructor Hamilton Glass.
The hands-on workshop brought together local participants to design and paint a vibrant mural at the Humane Society, celebrating creativity, collaboration and community spirit.
The workshop marked a meaningful partnership between nonprofits uniting art and animal advocacy in a shared space, said a release.
“We are delighted by the opportunities to partner with other nonprofit organizations and to invite the community to join in these efforts,” said Kathryn L. Swanson, Executive Director of Arts on Main. “Art is an inspiring way to bring people together.”
