Community Thanksgiving

For the 11th time, Courthouse Restaurant owners Kim and Doug Hibbs opened their restaurant, and their hearts, to provide a community Thanksgiving dinner last Thursday. The couple had provided the free meal every year since 2009; but the annual tradition was sidelined in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, the dinners were served both in-person and to-go. Volunteers coming out to help with the dinner were, from left, Gilby White, Dawn Gates, Josh Gibbs, Kim Greene, Joanie Saunders, Marianne Hunter, Terri Walker, Rilee Walker, Harry Saunders, Nancy Hazzard and Kim and Doug Hibbs.
