BREWS, BRINE & WINE: Gloucester Arts Festival and the Fairfield Foundation will host ”Brew, Brine & Wine” tonight from 5-8:30 p.m. at Machicomoco State Park, Hayes. Children 12 and under receive free admission. Under 21 tickets for six oysters and one non-alcoholic beverage can be purchased for $10. Over 21 tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. These tickets include six oysters, one alcoholic beverage of your choice and parking. Additional beverage tickets can be purchased at the event for $5. Rain or shine.

SMOKE AND S’MORES: Machicomoco State Park, Hayes, will hold “Smoke and S’mores” tonight from 5:30-6:30 at its outdoor classroom. Discover how fire was used by Virginia’s First Peoples to fell trees and build canoes—followed by a tasty treat. Participants will get to try their hand at making fire using both the bow drill and flint and steel.
