The Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck Community Services Board recently appointed a pair of individuals to serve as directors of human services and quality assurance, and has elected its first ex officio board member, executive director Linda Hodges reported.

Carolyn A. Gibson has been named the new Human Resources director. Prior to her appointment, Gibson was acting director.

Gibson earned her B.S. in Human Resources Management from Western Governors University. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management where she is pursuing professional certification.

“As the Director of Human Resources, Carolyn Gibson is a dedicated and trustworthy leader,” Hodges said. “One of her many strengths is her willingness and ability to research laws, policies and best practices before implementation. Her integrity in all situations creates a culture where all staff should easily and readily reach out to her.”
