Little Emily Lunsford seems more interested in the candy than the informational tables set up by 40 exhibitors at Saturday’s “Fall into Family Fitness” Free Community Health Fair at Mathews Baptist Church, Hudgins. Keeping a watchful eye on Emily is her grandmother, Debbie Lunsford. The event included a number of health care screenings, outside displays by the Mathews Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, the U.S. Coast Guard, Mathews Sheriff’s Office, the Virginia State Police, a children’s bounce house and a visit from the LifeEvac rescue helicopter, below.
