The Mathews Community Foundation has conducted two educational sessions so far this year for its donors. The foundation’s third educational session, to be held on Wednesday, Nov. 9, is open to the public, as well as donors. The session will be held from 4-6 p.m. at Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 176 Lovers Lane, Mathews.
The foundation requests those planning on attending to call the MCF office at 804-725-3454 to reserve a space. “Just tell us your name, phone number and how many in your party,” a release stated. “We can accommodate up to 150, so please call us soon.” Light refreshments will be served after the event. This free event is being provided as a public service to Mathews residents and the many donors of the MCF.
