Community flooding topic of session at VIMS

Residents worried about the possibility of flooding in their communities, or wanting to know how to prepare for flooding, are invited to attend a meeting next Thursday, Oct. 14, at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, Gloucester Point.

The meeting will take place from 5-7 p.m. in McHugh Auditorium of Watermen’s Hall at VIMS.

A notice said the organizers want to hear the thoughts and concerns of residents. These can help shape future coastal resilience efforts, the notice said.
