SOCIAL SERVICES: The Gloucester County Social Services Board will meet at 7:30 this morning, Thursday, Sept. 21, in the Social Services conference room.

REPUBLICANS: Gloucester County Republicans will meet tonight, Thursday, Sept. 21, at The IDK Raw Bar and Grill, 4329 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes. Doors open at 6 p.m. for socializing and dinner. The meeting starts at 7:15.

FORUM: The Gwynn’s Island Civic League will hold a forum for candidates for Mathews County’s school board, clerk of courts, commissioner of revenue, commonwealth’s attorney, and treasurer from 7-9 o’clock tonight, Thursday, Sept. 21, at the civic center, 1996 Old Ferry Road, Gwynn.

CLASSIC CRUISERS: The Middle Peninsula Classic Cruisers will have its weekly Cruise In at 5 p.m. Friday in the Main Street Center parking lot, Gloucester.

MONDAY

PARKS & REC: The Gloucester County Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the conference room of the Stewart Building.

REPUBLICANS: The Mathews County Republican Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the historic courthouse on Court Street.

TUESDAY

SUPERVISORS: The Mathews County Board of Supervisors will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the historic courthouse on Court Street.

FORUM: The Piankatank Ruritan Club will hold a forum for candidates for Mathews County’s board of supervisors and clerk of courts at 6:30 p.m. next Thursday, Sept. 28, at the club building, 7138 Buckley Hall Road, Hudgins.
