VA250: The Mathews VA250 Committee will meet at 3 p.m. Friday at Mathews Memorial Library.

CLASSIC CRUISERS: The Middle Peninsula Classic Cruisers will have its weekly Cruise In on Friday at 5 p.m. in the Main Street Library parking lot.

FANTASIA: An opening reception for the exhibit “Fantasia” will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Bay School Community Arts Center, Main Street, Mathews.

STRING FEST: Flat Iron Crossroads will feature music from artists Arkansauce, Into the Fog, and Palmyra during String Fest, to be held from 3-8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Gloucester venue. The cost is $30.

MONDAY

MAY FAIRE: An organizational meeting for May Faire 2024 will be held at 4 p.m. Monday in the Mathews Historical Museum, 200 Main Street. All interested persons are invited to attend, a release said.
