SOCIAL SERVICES: The Gloucester County Social Services Board will meet at 7:30 a.m. today, Thursday, June 15, at the Social Services building.

REPUBLICANS: The Gloucester County Republican Committee will meet tonight, Thursday, June 15, at the IDK Raw Bar and Grill, 4329 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes. Doors open at 6 p.m. for socializing and dinner. The meeting starts at 7:15.

REPUBLICANS: The Mathews County Republican Committee will meet at 7 o’clock tonight, Thursday, June 15, in the historic courthouse.

VSO QUINTET: The Virginia Symphony Orchestra’s Woodwind Quintet will perform at 7 o’clock tonight, Thursday, June 15, at Mathews Memorial Library as part of the Soothin’ Summer Sounds concert series. It is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
