NARFE: Chapter 1757 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday at Olivia’s in the Village, 6597 Main Street, Gloucester. The lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. and officers for 2023 will be sworn in. All personnel who worked for the federal government and USPS are encouraged to attend. A short business meeting and a discussion of personal careers is planned. Questions about the meeting can be answered by the chapter president at 804-642-2659.

BUDGET WORK SESSION: The Mathews County School Board will hold a work session on the 2023-2024 budget at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Mathews High School media center.

SUPERVISORS: The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the colonial courthouse. The start times for all supervisors’ meetings has been changed from 7 to 6 o’clock.
