SOCIAL SERVICES: The Gloucester County Social Services Board will meet at 7:30 this morning at the Social Services Building.

COOKIE EXCHANGE: Mathews Memorial Library will hold its annual A Gift for Santa Cookie Exchange from 11 a.m. to noon today at the library on Main Street. Bakers are invited to bake cookies and bring them to share. A prize will be given for the best holiday cookie.

REPUBLICANS: The Mathews County Republican Committee will meet at 7 o’clock tonight in the historic courthouse on Court Street.

NARFE: Members of Chapter 1757 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees and their guests will meet at Olivia’s in the Village, 6597 Main Street, Gloucester, at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, for the annual NARFE Christmas party. Those in attendance will enjoy lunch, sharing news, holiday games and prizes.
