THURSDAY

SOCIAL SERVICES: The Gloucester Social Services Board will meet at 7:30 this morning at the Social Services office building.

REPUBLICANS: The Mathews County Republican Committee will meet at 7 o’clock tonight in the historic courthouse on Court Street.

FRIDAY

DAR: The Cricket Hill Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 2 p.m. Friday at Kingston Episcopal Parish, Main Street, Mathews. Dr. Marshall Ruffin Jr. will present a program on “Society of the Cincinnati: Remembrance of that Vast Event.” Items will be collected for McGuire VA Medical Facility in Richmond.

CLASSIC CRUISERS: The Middle Peninsula Classic Cruisers will have its weekly Cruise-In at 5 p.m. Friday in the Main Street Center parking lot, Gloucester.

DRUM CIRCLE: CA & J Farm will hold a Family Community Drum Circle from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the farm at 5620 East River Road, Foster. Drums furnished. No experience needed. Requested donation of $10.
