MONDAY

COMPENSATION WORKSHOP: The Mathews County Board of Supervisors will examine the results of a classification and compensation plan developed for the county by Virginia Tech during an electronic work session at 1 p.m. Monday.

PARKS & REC: The Gloucester Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Stewart Building.

TUESDAY

EDA: The Mathews County Economic Development Authority will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the historic courthouse on Court Street.

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS: The Gloucester Board of Supervisors will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday via electronic means.

BLOOD DRIVE: The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 2-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Piankatank Ruritan Club on Buckley Hall Road at Hudgins. The drive is sponsored by American Legion Post 83 and the Mathews County Woman’s Club. Appointments are required and may be made by calling 804-725-2485 or visiting redcrossblood.org. Walk-ins will not be accepted. All blood types are needed and donations will be tested for COVID-19 antibodies.

WEDNESDAY

RESOURCE COUNCIL: The Gloucester Resource Council will meet at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at Gloucester Library, Main Street Center

CLEAN COMMUNITY: The Gloucester Clean Community Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, via electronic means.

WETLANDS: The Mathews County Wetlands Board will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, in the historic courthouse on Court Street.

THURSDAY

PLANNING COMMISSION: The Gloucester Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. next Thursday, Dec. 3 via electronic means.

FRIDAY

OPEN STUDIO TOUR: The Made in Mathews Open Studio Tour will be held this Friday through Sunday, as well as next weekend, both online through bayschool-arts.com and at some artists’ studios across Mathews County if COVID-19 restrictions permit. For more information, visit madeinmathews.com.
