MONDAY
DUATHLON: The Mathews Outdoor Club will hold a free Labor Day Duathlon from 3-5 p.m. Monday. It is open to everyone and will consist of a 3-mile run and a 2.5-mile kayak. Participants will drop off their kayaks at the transition point, Williams Wharf Landing, at 3 p.m. and drive to Put-In Creek Park, where the race will begin and end. FOOD/DIAPER PANTRY: Loaves & Britches, a food and diaper pantry, will be open from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bellamy United Methodist Church, Gloucester.
KING’S DAUGHTERS: The North River Circle of The King’s Daughters and Sons will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the home of Donna DeShazo of Gloucester. Jeannie Miller will be co-host.
COMMUNITY POLICY: The Gloucester Community Policy and Management Team will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Social Services office.
SUPERVISORS: The Gloucester Board of Supervisors will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the colonial courthouse.
