MICRO-TRIATHLON: The second in a four-part Micro-Triathlon series will be held from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, beginning at Williams Wharf Landing in Mathews. Sponsored by the Mathews Outdoor Club, the event will consist of a ¼-mile open water swim, an 8-mile bike leg, and a 2-mile run. Ages 14 and up. Cost is $22. Register at https://mocva.net/mmts. MASTER GARDENERS: Gloucester Master Gardeners will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Brent and Becky’s Bulbs, Gloucester. The topic of the meeting, open to all at no charge, is “How Plants Work.”

TOWN HALL: The Gloucester School Board will hold a Town Hall meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the T.C. Walker Education Center auditorium. The town hall will follow the board’s regular monthly meeting, which begins at 6 p.m.
