There is only so much comfort an individual first responder can offer to victims and witnesses at traumatic incidents. Something else is needed: something that can provide personal comfort. To fill this need, Knights of Columbus Council 9428 of the Church of St. Therese on Main Street, Gloucester, donated 50 soft cuddly teddy bears for officers to keep in patrol cars and provide at incident scenes.
