The Mathews High School Music Department and the Thomas Hunter Middle School Seahawk Band finished their performance seasons last Thursday with a combined spring concert event at the Harry M. Ward Auditorium at MHS.
The event included performances by the MHS Jazz Band, String Orchestra and Percussion Ensemble, the Seahawk Beginning Band, the Seahawk Intermediate Band, and the Blue Devil Band. The night culminated with a performance of the theme from “The Avengers” by a mass ensemble of all 73 MCPS student musicians.
