Colonial Virginia Bank marks 10th anniversary

Colonial Virginia Bank will celebrate its 10th anniversary from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. next Wednesday, Nov. 6, at its offices on Sutton Road near Gloucester Court House and on George Washington Memorial Highway at Gloucester Point.

Kenny Smith, executive vice president and chief financial officer, said CVB opened its first office on Nov. 6, 2003. Wednesday’s celebration will be an open house format, Smith said, with customers and others from the community welcome to drop by in the morning for coffee and doughnuts and to enjoy a catered lunch from 11 a.m. into the afternoon.

 

Cheryl Dame, branch manager and business development officer, said there will be drawings for 10 prizes, including a grand prize of a vacation at Nags Head, N.C., with other prizes including gift certificates to Vashti’s, Chick-fil-A, Kelsick Specialty Market and The Silver Box.
