Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) bridge crews will be performing maintenance on the George P. Coleman Memorial Bridge that will require a full directional traffic stop. The traffic stop is scheduled to occur on Wednesday, Aug. 3, between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. in both the north- and southbound directions of the bridge, with the stop expected to last up to 20 minutes.

VDOT attempts to schedule maintenance during travel periods when traffic volumes are lower, to reduce impact to motorists.
