Cocktail mix blends well with many foods

The popular cocktail Bloody Mary, which combines vodka, tomato juice and spices, has been with us at least since 1934, and got its start in the 1920s in Paris.

Buz Rollins of Mathews knows the ingredients well; he makes and markets what has become known as “the best gourmet Bloody Mary mix on today’s market.” His Bloodys by Buz is an original mix marketed nationally, and in addition to adding it to vodka, Buz has found it works well in many recipes.

“I’ve been making Bloody Mary mix for over 30 years without a recipe and of course it was never made the same, yet everyone seemed to like my Bloody Marys,” said Buz. “Then I began working on the recipe that I use today.
