Clyde A. Jones Jr., age 69, of Hayes, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021. Clyde was born to Clyde A. Jones Sr. and Carrie Virginia Jones on Dec. 9, 1951. Clyde was affectionately known as “Mr. Fix-it,” as he could repair anything. He also loved fishing, country music and will always be remembered for how outgoing he was and the kindness he showed to others. His siblings, Calvin E. Jones, Lewis L. Jones, Lois A. Belvin, Carrie V. Belvin, Audrey L. Wooldridge, Robert E. Jones, Carl D. Jones (Charlotte), and three nephews and three nieces survive him. He was preceded in death by his wife Joan, his parents, Clyde and Virginia Jones, and sister, Charlotte J. Luckette. A graveside service, conducted by Pastor Chris McMillan, will be held at Providence Baptist Church on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, at 12 p.m. In memory of our loved one, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
