Clothes 4 Kids event serves 100 families

The Clothes 4 Kids event that was held Sunday afternoon at the Gloucester Moose Lodge served about 100 families that came in to shop for free back-to-school clothing for their children. 

One of the event organizers, Crystal Copenhaver of Gloucester Point, said the event came to her after seeing posts on social media of parents reaching out to the community asking where they could find resources that could provide them with this need. “I had a moment of about two days asking God what in the world He was speaking to me when He told me to organize a clothing drive,” Copenhaver said. 

Copenhaver and her fiancé Jason Foster, who also helped organize the event, have six children between them, run their own businesses and have hectic lives.
