All post offices, courts, county offices, schools, and DMV customer service centers in Gloucester and Mathews will be closed on Monday, May 27, in observation of Memorial Day.

Gloucester libraries will be closed Monday, as well, while Mathews Memorial Library will be closed Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Waste facilities in Gloucester will be closed for the holiday, while the Mathews Transfer Station will be open.

ABC stores in both counties will be open, but will close at 6 p.m.
