-VIMS will open at noon Wednesday.

-Mathews County offices closed Wednesday. 

Tuesday, Jan. 28

-The Gloucester County School Board budget work session scheduled for this evening (Jan. 28) at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Thomas Calhoun Walker Education Center (has been postponed to Thursday, Jan. 30 (same time and location) due to the impending inclement weather.

-All after-school and evening community activities at Achilles and Botetourt schools are cancelled this afternoon and evening, Tuesday, Jan. 28 due to the early school closings and hazardous weather outlook. This includes all Parks and Recreation activities, scout meetings, basketball and any other community meetings or events conducted at these schools.
