After working as a college psychologist for a year, Dr. Vincent Rose has returned to Gloucester to resume his private practice of clinical psychology in the county and in Kilmarnock.

Rose first opened a psychology practice in Gloucester in 1991 and later taught at Christopher Newport University. He also became an auxiliary officer with the Gloucester Sheriff’s Office in 1995 and then joined the office full-time for eight years, serving first with its domestic violence intervention program and later as a supervisor of administrative services.

While he pursued other interests, Rose continued to offer his psychological services locally. He also conducted pre-employment evaluations for law enforcement, provided post-critical incident counseling for first responders, and was a volunteer with Gloucester Fire and Rescue.
