CLEMENTINE ROSE CLEVINGER

Clementine Rose Clevinger, 83, of Gloucester, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Dec. 16, 2019. She was born April 10, 1936, in Tams, West Virginia, the daughter of William and Pearl Rose. 

Clementine moved from West Virginia to Hampton Roads soon after high school graduation, where she soon met her beloved lifetime sweetheart, George P. Clevinger. They celebrated 63 years of marriage last March. She was an active member of Grace Bible Church, where she served in multiple capacities for 40 years.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved son, Brian, and five of her siblings. Survivors, in addition to her husband, George Clevinger, are her children, Sharon Carrow and her husband Carl, Crystal Hunt, William Clevinger and his wife Sokhem, and daughter-in-law, Jane Clevinger; 10 grandchildren, Amanda Carrow, Christopher Clevinger, Sara Clevinger, Frank Carrow, George Carrow, Samantha Clevinger, Brian (A.J.) Clevinger Jr., Anna Clevinger, Andrew Clevinger, and Noah Clevinger; and one great-grandchild. Additionally, surviving are three siblings, Eldine Crockett, Christine Craver, George Rose and many nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to the wonderful staff of Riverside Convalescent Center-Mathews for their love and special care of Clementine.

A service of remembrance will be held Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Grace Bible Church, Ark.
